Subject: A new subject opens straight away. Select Add notes to bring in your material.
Add notes: Add notes by taking a photo, choosing photos (up to 10 pages), uploading a PDF (up to 30 pages with selectable text) or pasting text (up to 20,000 characters). On phones, photos are read on the device; on the web, a free account is needed for photos.
Photos: Photos are resized on your device before upload, then each page is read in turn. If a later page fails, the pages already read are kept.
PDFs: A PDF is uploaded and its selectable text is read. Scanned PDFs have no text to read, so add those pages as photos instead.
Review: Before anything is saved, check the text that was read and fix any mistakes. Everything LevelUp builds for a source comes only from this text. Select Save when it looks right.
